200 refugee families have received personal hygiene items in placement centres in Cahul and Ungheni districts through the EU-funded EVA project aiming to promote gender equality in Cahul and Ungheni districts, in partnership with UNICEF. The apiaries belonging to Liza Mămăliga from Todirești village, Ungheni, and to Cristina Bacaliuc, from Andrușul de Jos village, Cahul, are part of the 8% of the 7,696 apiaries in #MD. They managed to break the stereotypes in beekeeping.

The 16 Days Campaign 2021 was launched in Moldova with an Open dialogue with women survivors of violence which took place at the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The aim of the event was to make heard voices and perspectives of women survivors of gender-based violence. The event brought together the representatives of the Parliament, Government, civil society and development partners with women survivors of violence, to jointly call for the elimination of gender-based violence.
