100 women are invited to participate in the Women's Leadership Academy, second edition

Start to the November 2018 – May 2019 session of the `Women 4 Leadership’ Academy! Thus, women who want to attend ‘Women 4 Leadership’ Academy are invited to apply.
The ‘Women 4 Leadership’ Academy proposes a complex program of support and empowerment of women interested in getting involved in the local decision-making and political life from the Republic of Moldova. The Academy is organized by the Association ‘Institutum Virtutes Civilis’ (IVC) and IP CRAION Contact-Cahul, in partnership with UN Women (United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women) and with the financial support of the Government of Sweden.
During the November 2018 – May 2019 session of the ‘Women 4 Leadership’ Academy, 100 women from different regions of Moldova will benefit from personal development expertise and from a wide range of opportunities to develop their political leadership abilities, public communication skills and techniques for organising electoral campaigns, and will have the opportunity to learn from the political experiences of other women from Moldova and from abroad. National experts will share effective and applicative techniques for promoting and conducting effective public campaigns, motivating the public to vote for a female candidate, and identifying the priorities of the target electorate, etc.
During the five types of events (trainings, round tables, oratory classes, public debates, mentoring activities), participants will learn good practices of action and involvement in the local decision-making and will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge and skills starting with the 2019 local elections.
Organisers will pay for the accommodation, food and transport.
The first training within the Project is planned for the second half of November 2018.

‘Women 4 Leadership’ Project is implemented by the Association ‘Institutum Virtutes Civilis’ (IVC) and IP CRAION Contact-Cahul and contributes to the creation of an inclusive platform for dialogue, training and action of leading women, that would increase the affirmation chances of women from different groups, including young women, women from ethnic minority groups, women with disabilities, who are absent from the decision-making.
This activity is taking place under the Project Cooperation Agreement with UN Women (United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women) funded by the Government of Sweden and UN Women.
