Ageism is an issue of inequality, discrimination, and injustice. Without tackling it, we will not achieve gender equality by 2030. Ageism impacts everyone - young and old. Prejudices surrounding age are widespread and unchallenged - in our attitudes, beliefs, policies, and societies - and create a formidable barrier to young women’s full participation in their communities.

The young people who participated in the first two editions of Gender Debates Café organised during March, are promoters of feminist values, actively working on the implementation of projects facilitating ideas exchange, enhancement of feminist movements image and the necessity to make them more visible both in their communities and at national level.

Seven journalists from print, online and audiovisual media outlets, finalists of the ‘Click for Gender Equality’ Media Program participated in a study visit to Stockholm, Sweden. For four days, participants visited international organisations, media institutions and non-governmental organisations that promote gender equality.
