One year of activity of the Integrated Regional Service for Victims of Sexual Violence in Ungheni
Over 50% of victims received critical support within the first four days following abuse, including immediate medical and forensic examinations and access to emergency contraception. Victims have also received psychological and legal counselling, which is essential for their long-term well-being. Notably, more than 80% of victims came from rural areas, highlighting the need to provide geographically accessible services.
The EU-funded project EVOLVE4GE has played a pivotal role in providing this support, helping survivors regain control of their lives.
