This synthesis provides detailed data on the use of time by Moldova's inhabitants: the types of performed activities (What are they doing?), the length of time for these activities (How much time?), as well as the context in which they are made (Where? With whom? For what purposes?).
The Gender Barometer is the first comprehensive study in Moldova that addresses women's and men's involvement in politics and decision-making. The study was aimed to elucidate gender-specific challenges in politics (the general attitude towards the involvement of men and women in politics, in the life of the political parties, their intention to run, the specific challenges of the candidates, both men and women, in the election process, the activity of the local elected politician), as the decision making process (the level of information on the community development process, the local development priorities, the involvement on different stages of the decision making process). The research was carried out by the Partnership for Development Center, under the UN "Women in politics", program.
