Given that the Moldovan society and state policies manifest interest in the activity of civil servants and public dignitaries, it is relevant to establish and develop some measure for preventing and sanctioning corruption behaviour of holding a public office and/or mandate, including violating the legal regime for reporting revenues/properties, conflicts of interest, and last but not the least, incompatibilities. Specifically, we are interested in the impact of amendments on the legislation directly related to the incompatibility regime and the establishment of incidence of these legal regulations on the local elected official and civil servant from the LPA, as asubject of rights and obligations. Mixing up the conflict of interest and incompatibility is one of the most frequent problems in the administrative system.
